nope nothing. I'm a bit annoyed really as I could have just bought it off itunes etc. You would have thought the loyal fans would be given it first! :-(

I'm not too worried at the moment, Carina and her management are doing this all by themselves so it's probably quite a task to get it all sorted out, especially sorting between the people who did the pre-order for the 2-tracks and then people who pre-ordered when it was only 1 bonus track.

still nothing. i don't get the point of pre-ordering when you don't even get it on the release date. i would have bought a hard copy if it had been advertised that there would be hard copies...

The bonus of the pre-order was the bonus tracks I'm still not a massive fan of Backseat, I like the first half of the song but the "it should be forever, god told me" section doesn't quite work (for me anyway, musically it's nice and pretty...), it's the rest of the EP that really grabs me. Please Don't Stop is a great little track, I like the slow build up and the soaring guitar solo around the 3-minute mark, wouldn't have been out of place on the second-half of Slow Motion Addict. Thief in the Sky is one of the songs that really wowed me when I saw Carina's support slot for the Gutter Twins so I was really looking forward to this, it's another wonderful track although I hope she continues to play it live how I remember it with all those wonderful looped vocals, that was a really powerful concert moment for me that really showed off her vocals. We do get the layered vocals on this recorded version although they're not quite as in your face, I think she the voice to really push it a lot more. The two standout tracks on the EP are the final two, Do You and For Everything A Reason. Everything about these two songs is just perfect, the subtle production, the lyrics, if it's a sign of things to come then I'm very excited I particularly love the crescendo of noise at the end of For Everything a Reason. As for the bonus tracks, I think they work incredibly well, it was the solo acoustic performances that turned me on to Carina's music in the first place and I'd love to hear a full album of tracks in this stripped back style, especially as I think there's more emphasis on the vocals, at times I think that the recorded vocals are a little more subdued than I remember from my live experience (which is one of the best vocal performances I can remember) and these acoustic versions seem more personal and powerful, I may even prefer them.

amazing E.P, really really great.
Never a fan of Backseat but im warming to it slowly! Please Don't Stop is current favourite though, along with For Everything A Reason.
Here's hoping tours and the 4th album won't be too faraway!
Badgerman, email carina on her website and say you preordered and they'll sort it for you!

This is a great EP! Especially like Please Don't Stop and For Everything A Reason. I must admit I prefer it when Carina rocks it up a bit, but these are such great songs and she has such a wonderful voice, I didn't miss the crunching guitars.

where is the the young emotional angry young british lady, has she turned into a smooth american mainstream singer? where is she gone? no more stuff like the famous lacuna or stolen car? i expected more. Won't be missunderstood, good stuff but in my opinion too smooth.
