Ooh, the Borderline would be good. Or (sticking to London venues here, cos that's where I am) the Garage, even, scuzzy though it is. Or the Barfly. Actually, I don't care where! I'm having major withdrawal symptoms here (keep checking back here thinking 'surely to god she must have some gigs coming up soon...?' but no!) - the one and only time I saw Carina live, last May (I think) I decided I had to go and see her again, as soon as possible. Little did I think I still wouldn't have managed that, nearly a year later.... STILL cursing the fact that I didn't make it to that Oxford gig. Pleeeease, someone tell me there's something coming up soon?

Pleeeease, someone tell me there's something coming up soon? Would love to be able to do that Rubes... but I can't it does seem like ages now! I was just replying to agree with your suggestions of The Garage and The Barfly. Still have never actually seen a gig at the Borderline though so I'll have to take your word for it as a good venue ! I think the 2nd time I ever saw Carina live was at The Garage, not her best performance but one of my favourite gigs as there was a nice vibe that night. Anymore suggestions? These can be venues anywhere. Not restricted to UK (or even just European) venues!

First time I saw her was at the Garage. Hadn't heard anything of hers before that. Performance was good enough for me! I bought the CD after the show and have been a fan ever since!

She should play the Water Rats because it's seedy and personal. Places like Bush Hall are pompous and full of pretentious people in my opinion. The last gig I went to there was awful (Nice lighting though) I hate huge venues. She should just do the pub circuit

Oh the performance was still great. Just I think Carina was quite nervous at this one and I've seen her do more confident sets. That's all I meant ... Nervous is often quite endearing anyway! Back to original question; I've heard that The Louisiana in Bristol is a lovely venue (albeit pretty small). Anyone who can confirm/deny this?!
