Its 8.45am. I'm in a hotel room in Indianapolis reading the forum. Its nice to keep in touch!
I've got tickets to see Morrisey at the NIA, now wouldn't it be nice if Carina supported him. I can but dream....

I quite agree! I don't know how I did my cyberloafing before the interweb. And it's always a challenge trying to link up your modem to a strange hotel phone system - most satsifying when it works.
I'd rather see Morrisey supporting Carina. But then again I never was much into daffodils. More of a snapdragon man myself.

There are one or two good things that have come out of the black country, robert plant, wonderstuff, noddy!, accent, gray peas and bacon not to mention carina. However the local press is poor, namely the Express and Star, who contradicted Steves comment that PJ Harvey was going to support Morrissey last night. Appy Polly Loggies Steve It was my first experience of PJ harvey and she was v.good, ~50mins on stage, I dont know her stuff but I am now converted, any particular fave, must have albums???

Ah told you so Hehe Glad you enjoyed it mate! I love Polly! She is so, so good! Blimey, I would recommend all of her albums (they are seriously all great) but I dunno... maybe get 'Dry' , 'To Bring You My Love' or the new one 'Uh Huh Her' as a starter! That's such a difficult question but I think those ones might be easier to get into than something like '4 Track Demos' or 'Rid Of Me''. Well actually 'Stories From City, Stories From The Sea' (the one which won her the Mercury prize) is arguably the most accessible. I still love it but I just think most of the other albums are better overall. Do a random 'ip dip' next time you are in HMV (or wherever) you can't really go wrong! Oh incidentally was Morrissey any good? ;D

Ah told you so Hehe Oh incidentally was Morrissey any good? ;D he was good, ~30% Smiths tracks, some B-sides the rest new stuff. He apologised for his appearance on Johnathon Ross show and he had a surprising rapport with the crowd. The accoustics in the arena could have been better and spoilt both Morrisseys and PJs set.

I bought the best of Morrissey the other day for £4.99 - an absolute snip! He's wonderful really - there's something quite quaint about the man - and Interlude is such a beautiful song. And I love his cover of That's entertainment'. His Quarry album was excellent too I thought. Harvey and him should get it on together.
