What a performance! I was a bit sceptical about Carina carrying it off solo in front of hardened grunge fans, but she did it. She might have turned a few more heads with a full band, but she certainly gained some more fans judging by the reaction of the crowd. By the end of the set, all inhibitions had been thrown off, giving us rousing renditions of Into My Blood and Let It Fall. It may have helped being a bit tipsy - she said she gets drunk when she's nervous ;D. Unsurprisingly as she was only the support, it was a short set of about 35 minutes and only 6 songs : Ready To Confess New You Do You Thief In The Sky Back Seat Into My Blood Let It Fall And here are a couple of photos - not very good ones, I'm sorry, taken with my mobile: There were a couple of other people taking photos with proper cameras. If they're reading this, it'd be nice if they posted them on this forum. Oh, and the Gutter Twins were fantastic too. Glad I'm going to Sheffield as well .

Thanks so much for that, and for the Setlist too! Interesting new song title, how did it sound? Is it following the slowed down songs she's been performing recently??

I've heard her sing New You once before, but I can't remember where, maybe at The Musician gig in Leicester last December. Yes, it is in the slowed down format, but what it'll sound like when recorded, who knows? Given the full band treatment, it may even become a rocker.

This is of course if she still has a band!!! I've heard mixed reports but we'll see I think the new record could be more chiled. Did you hear that show she did on Bristol radio? Was it on there? I never heard that one so i cant comment

Yes, I listened to the BBC Bristol interview and session, but I couldn't get it recorded. She played a new a song called You Do on that, but I'm sure the song she played at Nottingham was called New You - at least that's what she said when I asked her what it was called after the show. Maybe they are one and the same song, but with a different title now. Could also be that I mis-heard her .

Don't the BBC radio stations have a "play back" feature? Anyone checked online?

Ah it was You Do, of course, maybe its going by a variety of names at the mo, or she's doing a paul weller and the opening track is You Do and the closing track is New You etc...
Mind you, all will be revealed one day....if these tracks make the cut for the next record!!!
